Future World East
The first thing you notice when you walk into the park is the giant, iconic Spaceship Earth. Spaceship Earth is a slow moving ride that takes you on an exploration of the history of innovations from the Stone Age all the way to the Digital Age. On this journey, you will travel back to the dawn of recorded history, as early as when man painted on cave walls. You will witness when Egyptians invented papyrus and when the Phoenicians devised the alphabet. Travel through Greece and the world of mathematics and the masters of the Renaissance. Learn about how we progressed into the modern age of media communications, from newspaper announcements all the way to the moon landing and beyond.
Spaceship Earth will keep everyone curious about the world of technology and beyond. After your journey,
visit Project Tomorrow: Inventing the Wonders of the Future, an interactive play area for all ages that include
challenging games and engaging displays. Learn about the future and how we plan to move forward!

Visit the Universe of Energy, where you can go on Ellen’s Energy Adventure and learn about the history and future of energy production with Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Nye the Science Guy. Your seat in the theater transforms into a vehicle for discovery as you travel through detailed dioramas of prehistoric creatures where you learn how fossil fuels were formed. This time-traveling quest for the knowledge of energy will have you witness the Big Bang - the cataclysmic event that is believed to have shaped the universe. After learning about energy with Ellen and Bill Nye, witness Ellen recap just how much you learned about energy.

Experience a NASA-style training environment with a simulated space launch at Mission: SPACE. Become an astronaut, dodge meteors, navigate nebulae, and slingshot around the moon on this journey to Mars. On your way through the lab, you’ll see genuine NASA artifacts such as a 35-foot-tall gravity wheel (used to simulate gravity in deep space) and a NASA Lunar Roving Vehicle. Not only does the ride simulate a space mission, but the whole experience and ride queue reflects the International Space Training Center (ISTC) mission control. Everyone in the group will be assigned an important, interactive mission role: navigator, pilot, commander, or engineer. After experiencing incredible forces of lift-off and landing on Mars, you can visit the Advanced Training Lab where you can further your astronaut training in an interactive play area for all ages.

When you enter the state-of-the-art facility that houses Test Track, you will be welcomed into eye-opening exhibits that illustrate forward-thinking innovation and technology. Before you step into your ride vehicle, you’ll visit the Chevrolet Design Center, where you’ll design your own virtual custom concept vehicle all while accounting for various criteria such as capability (handling), responsiveness (maneuverability), efficiency (fuel-saving and environmentally friendly), and power (speed). After you create your custom car, you will discover and learn through a test drive how your custom concept vehicle performs after going through various obstacles on the Test Track circuit.

Make sure to stop by Innoventions, also located in Future World East, where you run around a vibrant pavilion full of fun games, exhibits, and activities for all ages. Innoventions exhibits sometimes change, but they're always an educational delight with experiences along the lines of Stormstruck, where you can learn about the power of weather.
Future World West
At The Seas with Nemo & Friends, you can join the characters of Finding Nemo on an underwater journey. After the undersea adventure, you can surround yourself with thousands of real sea creatures at the Undersea Observation Deck at Sea Base. At the Sea Base, children of every age can discover sea turtles, angelfish, dolphins, rays, sharks, and many more creatures that live in the 5.7 million gallon aquarium. The Caribbean Coral Reef Aquarium is the largest man-made ocean environment in the world and is home to over 4,000 sea creatures representing over 60 species. You can learn all about the fish that call the Seas home from a variety of Cast Members that work there. Surround yourself with marine life and learn about the depths of the ocean at the Seas!

The Land Pavilion on the Living with the Land, where you will get a first-hand look at many of your favorite foodstuffs being grown on trees, vines, and even in soil-less environments! Disney’s horticulturalists are using innovative growing techniques and cross-breed high-yield crops with the goal of sustaining out growing global population. Learn all about the diverse eco systems, from rainforest to farmstead, while the Living with the Land boat ride brings out agricultural history to life. |
Take a tour of Dr. Channing’s sensory labs with the man himself! Children of all ages will love learning and laughing about the five sense (sound, sight, smell, touch, and taste) on Journey Into Imagination With Figment within the Imagination! Pavilion. This musical tour sets out to prove how the senses capture imagination, but Figment comes by and mixes things up. Learn how to engage your imagination and discover that your imagination really does work best when set free!

Take a break from the Florida heat at Club Cool. This unique “exhibit” offers free samples of soft drinks from all around the world. Learn about and experience eight different flavors of soda from across the globe. Club Cool isn’t technically an attraction, it more showcases Coca-Cola products, but it’s always fun to try something new from a culture different than yours. World Showcase
MexicoThe first stop around the World Showcase Lagoon is Mexico. Step inside the Mexico Pavilion for a recreation of a night market. Within the pavilion, you can ride the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros where guests join Panchito, the Mexican charro rooster, and José Carioca, the Brazilian parrot, for hilarity and hijinks as they search for Donald Duck throughout the streets and activities of Mexico.
Visit the Mexican Folk Art Gallery where you can find "Animalés Fantásticos: Spirits in Wood,” an exhibit honoring Oaxacan wood carvers. |
These handmade figures are made with the belief that when they’re carved, a spirit is being unleashed from the wood.

NorwayAfter visiting Mexico, step into the culture of Norway. Guests are welcomed into Norway by a replica of a Stave Church. The Norwegians built the first Stave Churches around the year 1050 when Christianity was first brought to Norway. The churches blend Christian symbols with Viking images. Other European countries have built wooden churches, but only Norway's are still standing. Of the 1,000 Norwegian Stave Churches built in the Middle Ages, 28 survive today. Walk inside the church where Norsk Kultur presents a collection of authentic Norwegian artifacts and learn about how they represent elements of Norwegian culture that inspired the world of Frozen.

ChinaThe China pavilion is home to the House of the Whispering Willows where a one-third-scale reproduction of the famed Terracotta Army of Qin Shi Huang live. Tomb Warriors: Guardian Spirits of Ancient China lines up row after row of stalwart soldiers, replicas of those buried with the Qin Dynasty emperor in 209–210 BC to protect him from the evil spirits of the underworld. As you wander the exhibit, study artifacts and learn about the history of China.

GermanyLearn all about Germany’s culture through the candy that is handmade on site, along with the history of Germany’s famous teddy bears and cuckoo clocks. The fountain in the middle of cobblestoned plaza is stopped with a statue of St. George slaying a dragon. The architecture reflects diverse German regions and the clock tower features a glockenspiel that chimes on the hour. There is even a miniature German village and model train diorama that delights adults and children alike.

Italy
The Italy Pavilion is a spectacular replica of the 14th century pink and white Doge’s Palace. The facades are quite authentic, using a similar marble to that used in the original. In the center of the plaza area of the pavilion, the Plaza del Teatro, Fontana de Nettuno, a fountain inspired by Bernini's Neptune fountain, commands attention. Live performances grace guests daily, ranging from Sergio the Italian mime to a flag waving act, Sbandieratori Di Sansepolcro.

The American Adventure
Take an inspiring journey through our young nation’s history with Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain in The American Adventure. The pair salute America’s greatest resource, its people, as America’s story unfold before the audience. Experience the pioneering can-do spirit and patriotic songs that propelled this country to greatness. Twelve faux marble statues, six on either side of the 72-foot screen, symbolize the American ideals of Individualism, Innovation, Independence, Self-Reliance and more. Watch and see how these ideals precipitated key events like the landing of the Mayflower, the Boston Tea Party, the winter at Valley Forge, the penning of the Declaration of Independence, the Civil War, industrialization and the Great Depression.
The American Adventure is also home to the American Heritage Gallery, where a collection of 400 years worth of African-American artifacts and art live. Re-Discovering America: Family Treasures from the Kinsey Collection draws from an extensive collection of rare art, documents, books and artifacts amassed by philanthropists Bernard and Shirley Kinsey. Approximately 40 pieces will be on display at any given time, on a rotating basis, while the exhibit is at Epcot.

Japan
Japanese maples, bamboo, monkey puzzle trees, and many other native plants welcome guests to the Japan Pavilion. Japan is a wide open courtyard that features a wide variety of Japanese architecture. A towering blue-roofed pagoda is a replica of a 7th century Horyuji Temple and the White Heron Castle is modeled after a 17th century fortress that overlooks Himeji. The castle houses the Bijutsu-kan Gallery, where guests can learn about both traditional and modern Japanese art. The current exhibit in the gallery showcases Japan's "culture of cute." The display, Kawaii: Japan's Cute Culture, shows modern Japan and how the designs have become a way of life.

MoroccoA reproduction of the Koutoubia Minaret of Marrakesh, a prayer tower of the 12th century mosque, guards the entrance to the Morocco Pavilion. During the construction of the pavilion, native Moroccan artisans crafted the intricately carved towers with price - more native craftsmen were used in building this pavilion than in any other in all of the World Showcase. The buildings and landscapes found in this pavilion reflect those of Morocco.

The courtyard is surrounded by citrus and olive trees and includes a fountain inspired by the Nejjarine fountain Fez.
You can find Moroccan musicians and belly dancers perform daily. In the Gallery of Arts and History,
you can enjoy and learn from the ever-changing exhibits of Moroccan arts, artifacts and costumes.

FranceTransport yourself to another time and place, a land of princesses and enchanted castles, and learn about the majestic country of France as stunning visuals of the Loire Valley and its magnificent chateaus appear before you in 200-degree widescreen view. Impressions de France will give you a taste of French culture, life, and landscape. The beauty of the France Pavilion will have you waltzing down the cobblestone-lined streets as you learn about the history and significant staples of French life.

The United KingdomWith the United Kingdom Pavilion, a whole bunch of building styles are represented, such as Tudor, Georgian, and Victorian. No detail is missed in the UK Pavilion - there are soot-stained chimneys, a gazebo and maze, beautiful gardens, and replica UK phone booths. This is a bustling destination full of interesting architecture and cultural appreciations. The smell of fish and chips in the air truly makes this an authentic “trip across the pond.”
